A Walk In My Flipflops: Happy Fathers Day

The blogs have been few and far between here lately and I do apologize. Seems like now that summer is in full swing there is so much going on. Nothing major really just trying to maintain my gardens out in front of our house and doing a lil housecleaning on the inside as well.

Lacy has started her summer vacation so she is glad to be done with school for a few months. Mommy is also happy that she doesnt have to get up at every morning at 650am! Cheers for that. She has been helpful with taking care of Evan. Although her and Leo have been getting into it and I dont know if its cause he's competing with her for attention or if its just cause shes around now for him to harass ... probably a combination of the 2.

We had a nice Fathers Day. Chris had to work but he got home around 230pm. My inlaws came up around 4ish and we went out to dinner at the Lonestar Steakhouse. The food was good, the bill was high and the Margaritas were enjoyable... ya know, the usual :). Then we came back and had some Coconut Creme Pie ... mmmmm, our fav! So good. That is hands down the best pie EVER! In honor of Fathers Day here is a pic of Chris and the boys right after Evan was born. I love this pic cause I think Chris looks like the proudest Dad and its just so darn cute.

Also here is a good pic of my hubby and his dad and brother at Christmas a few years ago. Chris's dad is such a great dad and so proud of his kids. That is Leo with them, he was only 10 months old.
